What an excellent diatribe against a stupid cow who seems to know fuck all about the real world, just like most MP's but most certainly Labour ones. That was the ultimate insult from her - odious in the extreme. Maybe she'd like to donate a percentage of her fat taxpayer-funded salary to help keep the pub going and give the guy a well-earned break? I won't hold my breath though.
Schiff is one of the genius's along with Alasdair Macleod, Michael Oliver, and Andrew Maguire. Every word spot on there, it's going to be a very interesting and profitable 2027 for gold, silver and miners, and for those that hold and accumulate them - especially at these current levels.
I wasn't suggesting that the Iran War was the cause of 5% inflation more a contributory factor. The reverse Causation argument would suggest that more money has to be printed to cover the increased cost of oil
Tom - spot on. Everything points to one route now. Yes holding Gold has been painful but I think the Iran war was just a blip on the trajectory which would have seen 6k Gold this year. They are all blaming Iran for inflation from the Fed to the BOE. Any further rate rises means bankruptcy for the state mechanism. It's over and Gold will move sharply as that becomes an inevitable conclusion.
Hard to believe that the Avenging Eagle wrote this in such a reasonable tone. It is certainly true that no individual products, including Zenakine, were flagged up but since Croda are still promoting Zenakine like a PT Barnum miracle cure all over the world, the chances are that it is contributing to a stellar Croda performance. We won't see much of it in Skins' imminent FY25/26 results of course but will hopefully get some positive guidance for 26/27. You are certainly right that we need some forward guidance on Croda if Skins want to attract new investors.Notwithstanding your suspicions (and mine) about the June 2025 placing, no wrongdoing has been uncovered by the independent forensic investigation so nothing to see here.Cash is tight but the company has recently reconfirmed via its IR Desk that the chairman's cash runway assurances and the unexpected uplift in Q1 revenues still hold true. We have to wait a couple of weeks to find out how she has done it.The company has also confirmed to me that notwithstanding their Croda agreement, Skins directors are free to buy shares. They wrote:The existence of the ongoing contract confidentiality (not strictly speaking an 'NDA') with Croda never was a factor preventing the Directors from buying shares; it was more to do with ongoing negotiations with other potential partners that was the perceived deterrent. Any issue now around Directors buying shares will be whether we are in a close period in the run up to the full year results. That doesn't mean they are going to, of course, but my guess is that they will. The current SP is meaningless as Skins drifts towards the FY results. There appears to be a forced seller muddying the water again as a few Skinheads dive in on the back of Croda's news.
