My late father founded the classics department at Warwick University and lectured in English Literature as his main job there. By the end he hated the place. It showed its own gross moral turpitude by awarding Julie “Lingerie on expenses” Meyer (not) MBE an honorary doctorate in 2014 allowing her to style herself Dr Meyer.
I have contacted Warwick about this before but in light of the Cabinet Office stripping Meyer of her MBE I spoke to, what was termed, Margaret Thatcher’s favorite University this morning. I have followed it up with the email below:
Ref Julie Marie Meyer
Good Morning.
Warwick University awarded Julie Marie Meyer an honorary doctorate in 2014. I have suggested before that this was an error as she is a crook. She has fled the UK and Malta for Greece as she is wanted in the UK for contempt of court and facing a 6 month jail term. That relates to a £200,000 unpaid legal bill.
She also owes HMRC and the US IRS vast unpaid taxes dating back as far as 2000. She claims to both that she is impoverished but owns a million euro luxury villa in Greece.
She endeavoured to raise money for her Ariadne company with bogus accounts claiming millions of pounds in assets just weeks before it went bust. The administrators found no assets of value, merely vast liabilities.
She has left staff, contractors and banks in Malta, the UK, Greece and Switzerland with a raft of debts. The Maltese Regulator issued damning reports on her business as it rescinded its regulatory permissions.
On Friday, after a bit of lobbying from my readers and associates, the Cabinet Office stripped her of her MBE for bringing the honours system into disrepute.
All of her crimes and misdeeds are fully documented in countless articles at www.ShareProphets.com
In light of her losing her MBE will Warwick at least consider revoking her honorary doctorate.
Yours sincerely
