Famed bear raider Evil Knievil has been greedily buying more shares in AIM listed Victoria Oil & Gas (VOG) in recent days. Greed and Evil are two words that are often found together. Evil has had a thing for VOG for sometime . I am in and can see why . Where as Tom I believe, when last mentioned, is more circumspect . Things do finally seem to be slotting together over there now tho .

I think that oil is oversold and may bounce – I have bet that way.However,one should really assess the prospects of oil companies based on the current price of oil.While it is still certainly possible for the juniors to strike it lucky and make a profit,I doubt that the mathematical odds are in their favour given the current oil price.I’m guessing that the all in sustaining cost of production from many prospective oil discoveries might turn out to be around 80 dollars a barrel,which is just below where Brent Crude is right now.
