Breaking news and expert analysis on fast-moving AIM and LSE listed shares

It is very difficult to put much of a positive spin on today’s bond issue and placement by Xcite Energy (XEL). The funding is extremely expensive, the terms Xcite has entered into are worse than those it previously had and it looks like at least one of the company’s major funders has decided not to continue backing it. This is all bad news for Xcite’s new strategy to commercialise its North Sea Bentley oil field, as the market appears to have priced this project for likely failure. There are a couple of faint glimpses of hope, but I now have to revisit my call to buy this stock, from just over a fortnight ago.

I think the uncertainty surrounding the future of government in Scotland has a lot to do with the slow development of the Bentley oilfield. Hopefully a vote to stay within the union will help speed things along.

Ingoldby, i suggest you keep a civil tongue. I use the same username everywhere I post, and if you Google Hyvast you will find even the Mail knows me. In 1978 a majority in Scotland voted to leave the UK but there was also a second condition re percentage of the electorate we did not meet. This time there is no second criterion. I am very confident we will split away on Sept 19. So wash your mouth out and keep quiet. The only reliable sources of information about Xcite Resources are the company’s web site including RNS’s and also the discussion thread about XEL run on uk.advfn.com by mclellan.

I looked at ADVFN and found this poster. He is either a troll, a lunatic or the world’s worst investor. He has been ramping on ADVFN for 11 years and has posted more then 70,000 times under that user-name, and it seems 100,000 times under other user-names. Every company he chooses is a loser, he then ramps it like a madman for a few years then quietly sells out at a loss.

On the ADVFN website I read that mclellan, the number one in the team, has been banned for life and details passed at the request of the CPS to the police service. Seems like finally authorities have wakeup call about investment fraud by rampers

Rizwa Bhai, I have some great news for you. Fearing its long-overdue arrest for investment fraud, or perhaps for some other reason, it smashed its car headlong into oncoming traffic on the A66 near Warcop on June 16th, 2015 at 4:54 pm.
All enquiries to its pretend “attorney”, Charles Love who posts prolifically and indiscriminately as “Loverat” and is frequently involved in attempts to pump the shares of worthless A.I.M. companies.

On December 8 in the afternoon, a representation is going to be made to a Coroner about the possible involvement of one or more members of a criminal gang of rampers who wished to silence one of their members who, facing prosecution for investment fraud, could have, in a plea-bargain confession, have got these rampers into very hot water indeed for their crooked activities stretching back almost ten years.
