Its not rocket science to do the blinding obvious, and to scale down a monster.
I think there’s still away to go on this one, obviously, and am waiting for richer pickings down the line, patience.
Another positive change would be to get rid of these damn marketing devices, coupons, points, and bribes, that all hold you up at check out, just well marked prices, and cheap at point of sale, like the competition does.

Not sure it will be easy for TESCO and its shareholders this year or any of the grocers. They have all expanded so much covered every revenue line and instead of competing against other grocers they compete against their self’s. They have destroyed them self’s in pursuit of the high street pound. Good luck to all of them and also the shareholders and I hope it comes good for everyone but just like the banks we will see more bad news and I believe 2015 will not be good for these sectors.

Poor buggers at Tesco lose their half reasonable pension scheme. Dave gets paid millions, to slash employee benefits and will get a bonus for just keeping the ship afloat. Would be nice to see any bonus paid only on getting profits back above the level before the crash not just increasing from this years low, with all the exceptionals that will be in the results.

I was stood at a bus stop in a Midlands city last night when my eyes came to rest on a large advertisement it was hosting, explaining that “Even Branston Pickle is now cheaper at Tesco”. Well frankly I was gobsmacked – EVEN BRANSTON PICKLE?!! Then I was struck by this seemingly profligate waste of funds as it went on to explain how it’s now 37p cheaper, so struck that I actually took a photo. of it. I later noticed many of these advertisements elsewhere as I contemplated the wisdom of this expenditure given Tesco’s current predicament.
