ShareProphets has some intelligent people leaving comments on the articles written. The IQs must be about 2 Standard Deviations higher than that of a chat room poster, to judge by the response I receive, and the commentators’ research has sometimes been better than mine.

See today’s QPP RNS describes RT as “relinquishing his rights” to buying back the 8m shares. Language is optional rather than contractual.

Looking back at the QPP clarification RNS the words used for the repurchase element were that the directors were “contractually obliged” to buy and fully intended to do so. Now RT is relinquishing his “rights” to buy back and will not be buying them back as uneconomic. About a week between theses two announcements. You could not make this up. Share prophets nailed this one exactly.
