Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
I am sorely tempted to don my stab vest and head up to Sadiq Khan’s glorious multicultural, tosser and rat infested, London for this one, bringing vast amounts of beer and popcorn. For I can today reveal that Zak Mir has lodged an appeal with ACAS seeking a claim for unfair dismissal from cash strapped Lift Global Ventures (LFT) and if not agreement will be reached then it is an Industrial Tribunal. I have gleaned some of the details and it is mind boggling.
Lift claimed that it was right to sack Mir as its CEO as he had committed an act of gross misconduct and brought the company into disrepute by engaging with Paul Mathieson of Amazing AI, Barings’ Nick Leeson and Harvey Weinstein’s paid goon and harasser of rape victims Seth Freedman in a plot to destroy me, involving useful idiot Meg Short at Bloomberg, to stop me exposing the Amazing AI fraud.
Furthermore, I understand that Lift is now claiming that Mir was not authorized to take on Amazing as a client and that this was also a grounds for sacking.
But Mir points out that the engagement letter for Amazing was supplied by one of his fellow board members.
So is Lift, and its chairman David Richards MBE of Wandisco infamy, really sure that if Mir was acting in an unauthorised capacity and then engaging in conduct which brings Lift into disrepute that keeping the cash he earned, £15,000, is really a moral thing to do?
If there is ever a hearing this could be spectacular entertainment with so much mud being thrown by both sides. I really would not want to miss this, where is that stab vest
