It is just under three months away but there are now just 11 of the 100 seats left for Sharestock on September 5 here by the banks of the River Dee between Chester and Wrexham. So if you want to come I’d hope that you will book HERE
Normally 1 of the men dubbed Britain’s Buffett headlines at Sharestock. This year BOTH of Britain’s Buffett’s will be there: Jim Mellon is on just before lunch and and Nigel Wray just after.
The timings of the other speakers will be finalised in the next few days
The two Britain’s Buffetts are not the only reason to come along which is why, there are just 11 of the 100 places on the lawn unbooked
You can ensure you get one of the remaining 11 seats HERE
If you have been before you know about the night before before pizza bash, chef Vijay’s lunch and the cold salmon supper with home made ice cream. You know about Joshua’s croquet, my daughter Jaya’s plum and ginger cake stand, the Bara Brith at tea and about speakers such as Lucian Miers, Evil Banksta and myself
But we have another new speaker this time: my pal Mark Slater, the most gifted small cap fund manager in Britain. His presentations are always amazing.
Then there is a new bitcoin/bitcoin in treasury session with the bear (me) taking on the bull, Andrew Webley of the Smarter Web Company
And then a session I really look forward to: Barry Downes and Brian Kinane on AI: is it a bubble, which listed companies will be wiped out and how will it change all of our working lives.
Peter Brailey, rather than myself will be grilling two company bosses: Cathal Friel of European Green Transition and Chris Gilbert of Eco Buildings
You can book in for all of this on Saturday5 September by the River Dee between Chester and Wrexham HERE
For all sorts of reasons I hope to see you on September 5 at the Welsh Hovel.
If you have any questions about the day, about camping up here if you wish by the river or anything else just drop me an email.
To those who have already booked, my wife Ranji will be sending out an email with the day’s schedule, notes on accommodation and other logistics very shortly. If you have not booked please do so HERE.
Best wishes
Tom Winnifrith
