As I revealed in bearcast earlier Bloomberg has, at a very senior level, finally, reached out to me about the role its reporters Meg Short, Will Shaw and possibly others, played in the conspiracy funded by fraud and involving the paid goons Nick Leeson of Barings infamy and Seth Freedman of Harvey Weineten eternal infamy. I am in no doubt that its belated response is down to some of you. Now can others keep up the good work and also broaden out the revelation of conspiracy . Here is how…
My requests for remedial action at Bloomberg are explicit and clear and are laid out HERE - not least that it hand Meg Shorts notes and tapes to the FCA and investigate whether its reporters have been part of any other Freedman smear campaigns.
But big corporations sometimes feel that a private apology and a few platitudes will allow them to brush scandal away when it is only “little people” that are affected. I still have a vague hope, though not much of one, that one of the MSM pussies will call Bloomberg for comment so making it realise that this scandal will not go away.
But assuming that the Fleet Street pussies are indeed pussies might I ask:
*If any reader uses a Bloomberg terminal might they send a link to the original article HERE to your sales contact, asking him or her for a comment. The contact will have to discuss it internally and the pressure will mount
*Please report the incident to the Bloomberg Ethics Hotline HERE. I know that a number of you have and that really is helping put the pressure on BSD John Micklethwait and colleagues . The more the merrier…
But here is the big request. We know that Freedman and Leeson’s Red Mist operation has earned cash from harassing me in order to protect fraud twice now, over Zoetic and over Amazing AI. But how has it paid its bills between those two assignments? Has it harassed, bullied or smeared any other journalist or whistleblower?
It seems the MSM pussies cannot be bother to dig into this but the FCA knows how big an issue this is and will be doing so in a material way. But as ordinary citizens, as opposed to pussy journalists, many of you have X accounts or other social media accounts and a backbone. I therefore ask you to X post or post on social media a link to the original ex paywall story HERE with the hashtags #sethfreedman #Metoo
