You could not make this up. Disgraced liar and crook Jim Ellerton may well be reinstated as the next Chairman of Sefton Resources (SER) in January. This take from the AIM Cesspit gets worse and worse.

Surely the FCA would declare him unfit to be a director?
Anyway, that “contract” sounds unenforceable. No director can be immune from ousting by shareholders.

Tom, You should be the next CEO of SER. You could defo do a better job than any of them!

My three legged cat Oakley ( who is possibly the stupidest cat I have owned) would do a better job. But both of us would rather drink Ebola than take on that poisoned chalice

That would be fantastic . Oakley the three legged cat as CEO of Sefton . We could have RNS issued saying “the cat ate the calculations” What could be better than that …….. I might even buy a few . Oakley could sell the business to 2+2 = 5 at Quinron and RT would have a three legged cat consultant and Seftons massive assets on the balance sheet . Of course Oakley would get a nice golden hello . Fourteen tons of “whiskers” Salmon flavour should suffice. That would be transformational for Quinron and I am sure Oakley would bring plenty of disruptive technology into the board meetings ( okay , mice then )
