SIG plc – two years ago “hugely enthusiastic” and “excited” CEO appointee now hands in notice of resignation

It has been announced that CEO of insulation and building products company SIG plc (SHI), Gavin Slark, has been appointed as the next CEO of building materials distributor Travis Perkins (TPK) and, whilst shares in the latter are up, shares in SIG have currently responded more than 14% lower to 15.445p. With though Travis Perkins an above £1.2 billion market cap FTSE 250 company and SIG having been capitalised at not much above £200 million, what about the SIG share price response?
