Sprott Global has just interviewed Alasdair Macleod. Alasdair writes the blog FinanceAndEconomics.Org. His research aims to explain the relationship between the dollar and gold, and to warn investors about the biggest threats to their wealth from macro-economic events. Besides what the Fed is doing by printing money, there is another big threat to the dollar, said Alasdair. Countries in Asia are banding together in order to rid themselves of using the dollar in international trade.

Great informative article! Fully agree with conclusions, reached.
The States have been living on borrowed time for the last three decades. Disastrous economic policies that laid waste to the industrial heartlands and destruction of millions of working class Americans wealth. Add the Feds policy of ‘monetary easing’ The days of the dollar as the worlds trading currency is surely numbered.
Suspect that the USA might find China and Russia a tougher nut to crack, than Gaddafi and Saddam, when they started touting ditching the dollar for their oil sales!
Fixing in the London bullion markets? No! As if de Rothschild’s would have anything to do with such wrong doings!

An excellent article. Food for thought. Thank you

Just by coincidence, I have been researching gold this afternoon, and came across some interesting articles:
eric sprott tells it as he sees it:

unbelievable gold manipulation, “worse than libor”:

very interesting in last article, for me, was the paragraph that stated that:
‘Fideres’ research found the gold price frequently climbs (or falls) once a twice-daily conference call between the five banks begins, peaks (or troughs) almost exactly as the call ends, and then experiences a sharp reversal, a pattern it alleged may be evidence of “collusive behaviour”.’

a bit off-topic, but so scarey I wanted to bring it fully to people’s attention, two articles on bail-in:
is Portugal next for bail-in:

and, really scarey, bail-in plans for UK:

“So much gold has already gone from Western vaults to the Far East – China, India – and the Middle East”
Is that where ours went after Gordon sold it or were the recipients those pesky Rothschilds (again!)?
“They don’t want to see trade settlements reflected in bank accounts in New York.”
Perhaps there are sub-factions within factions with more sinister motives for this lack of western traceability given the sort of awful events to which the world has recently borne witness in certain parts of that domain, and the increased associated funding potential.
