The subject of an FCA Criminal enquiry into alleged misuse of client funds, owing millions in unpaid taxes to the HMRC and IRS and now facing jail for contempt of court over yet another unpaid legal bill, Julie “Lingerie on Expenses” Meyer MBE has given her thoughts on the great issue of our time: the need to get more folks like her on boards. With no comment from me she opines:
“An excellent time for this development … when Boards become homogeneous, they more frequently fail to manage conflicts of interest and failures to spot negligence, misuse, or other irregularities – this is particularly rife in private companies … Women tend to speak truth to power more frequently as they have seen how the modus operandi of power Versus empowerment works … it life were a video game, being a white male would be the lowest level of difficulty …. Time to turn the beat around”
Praise the Lord for such pearls of wisdom.
