Never understood why his nonsense is tolerated anyway.
Charting on AIM is so nonsensical as most of it is driven by sentiment and ramping/deramping idiots. Shares are so horrendously insider dealt on that the whole thing is a farce. I have seen Zak do research on shares that have such little volume that the statistical significance of his charting must have an R-Squared of less than zero.

Perhaps a compromise would be to provide a filter function like they have on ADVFN so those of us who have no interest in the cobblers he writes do not have to scroll past it to get to the worthwhile articles on SP and those that like having their tea leaves read can still do that. On that basis you could stop spending an inordinate amount of time sub editing him as no doubt those who like his cobblers would still understand it. Why does it matter when he files. If he files at an inconvenient time his cobblers can wait until Darren can be bothered to put it up. As long as he does not suck up to arseholes in his SP articles, it does not really matter how much he destroys his credibility via other media does it. Just cut what you pay him to what he is worth and viva FREE speech, even if it is cobblers

Had to vote no. Every now and again he includes some dog I picked up – usually on an HSR tip (only joking Tom!) – and tells me that the stars say I will be a millionaire in 27 days time.
If you didn’t publish Zak Mir I’d have to go back to shelling out for the sun every morning to so I could read mystic meg.

I think we all know that you will not sack Zack Mir so it probably does not matter that I voted for the Chris Oil option but then changed my mind but realise it may be too late to vote for the cobblers option which is probably my true position. I enjoyed the Chris Oil interview it was pure commedy and I think we need more interviews like this, if you can get the pair of them to do a few more and next time give them both long pointing sticks so they can wave them around and point them at the graphs like a pair of nutty professors, this could complete my happiness.

If this is a serious question, I would get rid because it is just nonsense for the reasons already mentioned and is merely used as a ramping tool on various sites. I actually use it as a contra indicator for certain stocks that are being pushed on a regular basis.
Goes against much of the rest of the site. On the one hand you’re quite rightly giving Lenigas a hard time and then Zak includes a Lenigas related company about twice a week and usually finds something positive to say.
More generally, he manages to find a “rising upward channel” about 95% of the time which is ridiculous when historically about 95% of AIM has gone on a downward trend.
It’s just ramping wrapped up in jargon and a posh voice!

Well it depends, its pretty much a judgement call, the contribution he makes to the site, his readership, costs and the fact he can be late. I don’t use those charts at all, but there are some that do, and he does throw up share names of companies I have never heard of, and I do check them to see if any have an interesting story.

Zack seems an alright guy, but charting is cobblers, Zack is Cack in that respect, and does not do Shareprophs any favors, have just not engaged with it as a concept as it is bollocks, and there’s enough shite to contend with as a PI, sorry Zack.
