The clocking is ticking down on Sefton Resources (SER) being booted off the Casino. Despite not having a Nomad, the company is still subject to the disclosure rules. So why, therefore, has Sefton’s new board not told shareholders that it has decided to cancel/postpone this month’s AGM?

I remember there was a company where they had their AGM at midnight, new years eve in a remote castle somewhere in Scotland, and one year a shareholder actually turned up for it. As always age is to memory what TW is to a fashion statement and I can’t remember the name.
I do remember when companies used to give gifts for shareholders and Northern Foods used to give their shareholders a Cheese every year.
A company called the Breamar Tartan Co Ltd used to send me tins of butter and a Haggis each Christmas, Breamar goes down in history as having the least amount of SP movement over time, the SP stayed exactly the same for over 7 years.
All I can say about Sefton is that surely people know the risks by now, Sefton has been uninvestable for years, I’m sure I will not be the only to be pleased when it has gone
