Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
And we are off again with the next Big Dave Lenigas fund raise. This time it is Lenigas Cuba where books will close on Friday on a pre IPO funding raising £3 million (or a bit more) at 2p. Heck I know I’m on sabbatical but I thought I’d share this scoop with you.

Get a grip, standard listing is even more lax than AIM
Companies listed in the Standard Segment only need to comply with the minimum EU Directive prospectus and disclosure requirements. Lower and less stringent regulatory and disclosure requirement in the standard segment than in AIM.

DUCK AND DIVE
Thanks for the heads-up. No doubt anyone who wants in at 2p will get a chance, sooner or later.

It was the overt regulation placed on the good companies (ignored by the bad), that caused the ultimate failure of the USM market. The real culprit is letting the scammers on in the first place.
A little more due diligence wouldn’t go amiss, not much point when the horse (and shareholder value) has bolted. It isn’t just the AIM market either, there is pretty much a sleaze town in all of them
