Just why did Betfair move so sharply to Oxi! a few hours ago? Er there was a Gallup poll taken on Saturday and released to non insider dealers after the actual poll closed here in Greece. I caught the last voters turning up to have their say at my local polling station and then talked to the precinct captain for Nai.

Well that looks like £300 or so well spent, what an experience that must have all been. To see it, feel it and be part of a historic moment.
Hope some sort of solution or compromise is reached though over the next few days with IMF/ECB, got a bad feeling that what with this and China stock exchange on a perilous edge this could kick off the mother of worldwide collapses.
Both Greece and China need to pull this back and kick that can a bit further on, otherwise it is the start….

People don’t vote themselves to poverty nor put them selves into an underclass.
It is an essential that whoever goes there, goes with their folly or more likely someone puts there. No democracy can cope with an underclass that becomes happy with there lot, when you make people happy in underclass, growth slows to stop, and there they will stay.
An achievable envy driving people to get out of the drop zone, or keep away from it, is the driver of the essential mobility to maintain a healthy democracy and a growing economy.
It is better for the Greeks, that the German put them there. If the Germans are so dominant to bankrupt another, despite their own folly, it will not go unnoticed, not here anyway.
10 out of 10 for the defiance of little Greece, it hasn’t kept that long democracy for nothing.
Maybe there is a lesson here for Britain, maybe to shut up moaning and start doing and to think on this when the time comes when call me Dave tries to con you he’s reformed it.
You pass up this coming referendum, then next one will be for you to vote OXI

Perhaps we should ask Angela to pay back the debt we accrued defeating the Nazis (money was still being taken from my hard earned when I entered the workplace and I’m a fair way from drawing my pension). Seems only fair if they feel the new generation of Greeks who are not responsible for this mess and for what in general went before should be held to account…
