Yes, this time it was at the Greek Hovel less than 15 yards from the building. And I was just 3 or 4 foot away. Cripes. I really do not like snakes which brings me on to Philip Crawford on Lombard Risk and Nomad Charles Stanley which today signed off on an OUTRIGHT LIE of an RNS penned by Crawford. I have a 14 year old score to settle with the tosser Crawford and so accuse him of lying to investors today. Is that not against AIM rules? Elsewhere I look at Tungsten, Plus 500, Sefton, Coms and Rose Petroleum which are all sells. Events at Rose have moved fast since the bearcast vindicating me (see HERE)

Could be a lucrative side line there in snake oil (almost typed Chris then!). Could even list on AIM?! More seriously, seems to me the reg. bodies could be open to a class action over the whole NEW fiasco (if the UK has class actions yet – one for BT’s action group perhaps) if serious reparation of sorts isn’t offered. They surely should be.

Stride Gaming came to the market today at 132p (placing price)….and ended the day at 171p. So it didnt rise 200+%.
ADVFN’s included it in the top risers is wrong because it’s using Stride’s epic (STR) that belonged to a company that was delisted time ago.

In windows update you can switch windows update off completely or specify a time for downloads that does not clash with your work routines . Since you work every day then switching it off is the best option . I use this setting and I just switch it on three times a year , Xmas Hols , Easter Hols and Summer hols . This works fine . Most of the updates are shite anyway ………. but they all have the potential to corrupt the system registry and if you use windows 7 or vista you also can repeatedly lose any self specified settings in the sidebar gadgets. You can over come such loss by restoring to a previous date via restore on the control panel but this wipes the update out again of course .
In windows 8 you can find MS update via the search box and switch it off . Problem solved .
For serious crashes rather than go to the repairer try :-
switch computer off
switch on again pressing F12 once per second continually as it boots up
Select windows repair from menu and follow instructions or alternatively run windows in “safe mode” then enter “restore” via the search box (while in safe mode) and restore to a previous date .
If F12 key does not give you a menu with the above options then try again with F8 or F2 keys . Failing that work through the F keys one by one until you find a menu with “repair” or “run windows in safe mode” on it and then following instructions above .
