Hello Share Twiddlers. So if the Tories get in again they will sell off Lloyds (LLOY) shares to the public at a discount.

I would not bother …………. the Tories are not going to get back in .

Sadly, Wilders, with the personality of Ed, I think they will.

Nicola Sturgeon is doing a sterling job of running the Conservatives campaign for them.
Are the Tories paying her?
Even Nigel Farage has said he’s changing tack to concentrate on preventing a Nicola Sturgeon government by proxy.

Labour will need to flog off Lloyds even more than the Tories. No doubt they will make a different virtue out of it.

With a spiv like Cameron they should’nt, but who knows????

Mr Cameron is a supporter of fox hunting and would bring it back if he could – despite the wishes of 80% of the population. As one of the majority who detests torturing innocent animals for fun, I hope he doesn’t get in.

Whilst, I like many people feel dismay at the likely prospect of another five years of Tory misrule, their probable victory is going to be the flame that lights the blue touchpaper for share land blast off.
The government involvement in Lloyd’s have held back the share price for the last couple of years, so its good news all-round that a future Conservative administration would sell off the taxpayers holdings. Gives us investors a good opportunity of picking up more of the shares at an attractive discount, too.
After a pretty disastrous 2014 Communisis with a current uninspiring Stockopedia Stockrank of 58, could well be a good recovery play, particularly if they can bring down their rather worryingly high level of debt and meet or exceed current market forecasts for 2015.
By the way, Malcolm, totally agree with your fox hunting observation. One thing the millionaire Cameron isn’t, is a old school one nation Tory but the rather distasteful ally of the rich and privileged few….. God how this country needs an Aneurin Bevan!

I agree with everything you say, Alcers. Join me for one in the Punter’s Return?
