Premaitha – you say that Illumina could have sued 6 months ago – this is not correct. You can only sue once the product is advertised or sold. A preliminary injunction would have only been available to Illumina IF they had a NIPT product on the market. Also re: new contract – you said it was a two way race with Illumina perhaps but Illumina does not have a CE mark yet. Buy on rumour sell on news. The news is a million pound patent litigation with a minimum 12 months uncertainty regardless of the merits. Meanwhile if Illumina get CE then I think we all know which one customers will buy.

Re QPP I feel Tom you could of mentioned the statement put out this morning by the company confirming,to a degree the ST story. I fear you may have got this one wrong as if they get anything like the sums bandied about they are not going bust. I hope I am wrong and you are right!
TW Note: I recorded before the Quindell lies (now shown by S&G to be lies). Your fears about me unfounded.elrico
Tom, I’ve been wondering about the motives of the clown blogger at Betaville. It appears on the face of it he could be doing Quenron’s dirty tricks campaign aimed at damaging the bears, as well as it’s main strategy to raise it SP in readiness for a rights issue. I feel the Betaville clown is having his strings pulled.
