At the ShareProphets seminar on Monday 2nd February in Clerkenwell at The Free Speech & Liberty Pizza House, David Lenigas & the new CEO of UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) Mr Steve Sanderson explianed why they thought Horse Hill was not a busted flush but very exciting. The video is below.

I have to say Timmy (I mean Steve) was quiet a dry chap and ofcourse Mr Litigation (cough) I mean Lenigas appeared quiet sensible for a change (Thankgod) well there bullish aren’t they?
So am I and I don’t even like the whole business model, talks cheap and actions speak louder than words but in the short term it helps ramp the SP.
Hence why I’m a buyer.

Some classic body language displays in this Vid :-
Watch Big Daves hand gestures at 37 minutes in around the mouth area and Tom sitting in the background showing a range of evaluation cluster gestures . The little guy passes with honours !

As a share holder, (unfortunately underwater) this gave me little confidence going forward. I have to say I am growing a little tired of D.L and his flannel. With the exception of LGO, my investments in his companies has been underwhelming.
They all seem to operate the same way, lots of talk and ramping, but little substance behind the words. Based on what I’ve witnessed on the video, will I invest more into UKOG, no. I guess I will sit on the shares I own, as the oil price seems to be turning more positive, but there are more interesting plays then UKOG.
Would have more respect for you Dave, if you honestly answered questions asked on twitter, instead of just blocking people.
Wildrides, you make a good point re Tom’s gestures, especially when DL was trying to put a positive spin on the ex NOP assets, not sure he was buying it?

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, totally uninspired with the rambling monotone dialogue, this was dreary !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
OK, there was no bullshit ramping, but so uninspiring and not credible, no feelgood factor and after 5 mins guys I switched off.

This field is not commercial with oil at $100/bbl, so y wud it b commercial at $50/bbl ? Like all UK onshore deposits, a complete waste of time & money, until the “last days of oil” when we r desperate, which may be 100 years from now.

Must admit I just thought “blah, blah, blah” when listening to presentation. Even if their technical interpretation is correct UKOG, worth tuppence ha’penny, hasn’t the money to get it out and with 1.6bn shares and climbing at <1/2p shareholders would be diluted to oblivion to move any of the projects forward. Personally I don’t rate Lenigas companies at all although LGO has been a productive plaything whilst LGO has only been releasing one-sided newsflow but withheld how production falls away quickly from each well. Latest 2k production is largely coming from 2 wells (c1400bopd) ~ what happened to the rest?
