Worthington fraud update, beer and popcorn in January

I am grateful to reader BuriedTreasure for flagging up that shares in Worthington (WRN), a fraud this website exposed at some (legal) cost as Aiden Earley injuncted me in absentia and then failed to stop me getting that injunction lifted, are still marked as suspended by the FCA after 12 years. Why is that?

WRN

Worthington fraud trial update

Of course, devout Christian Aiden Earley is now pleading his case before St Peter but the trial of the other members of the Worthington (WRN) Gang started in September. My man at Southwark Crown Court has an update.

WRN

BREAKING: Worthington fraud trial still underway, but defandants carry on as before, planning stockmarket comeback

Sadly, the late Aiden Earley never got to prove his innocence at Southwark Crown Court, the devout Christian is instead pleading his case before St Peter. But the trial of his brother Wulfstan and of three others Douglas Ware, Richard Spurway, Allan Biggar did, I am told, start in September last year. Scheduled to last four months it is still, I believe, underway. But the awesome foursome are not letting the grass grow under their feet.

WRN

The Worthington Trial is finally underway but Aidan Earley is already in a better place

Shares in the fraud Worthington (WRN) were suspended on 10 October 2014. Almost a decade later in a case brought by the FCA, to whom I passed a vast trove of documents published on this website, four men sit in the dock. Devout Christian Aidan Earley, who claimed falsely that I stole those documents, is not present having passed away while the wheels of justice ground ever so slowly.

WRN

Massive Vindication for Tom Winnifrith No1 – FCA takes Aiden Earley & the whole Worthington 5 to criminal court

Even the Mrs was laughing this morning as I reminded her of how investors in Quindell and a couple of other frauds I exposed lined up to crowd fund Aiden Earley as he tried (twice) to injunct me and force me to take articles down. We defied the threats  and those articles remain up to this day on this brave and courageous website and the trove of documents I dared to publish were all passed on to the FCA. The FCA has now charged Earley, his brother and 3 others, the Worthington 5, and they appeared in Court yesterday. As I scuttle off for a celebratory ouzo here is what the FCA states:

WRN

Son of Worthington Whetstone suspended as FCA raids Aidan Earley

I merely report the facts. Yesterday at 9.30 AM the matched bargain market Britdaq suspended trading in Whetstone (WHET) shares. Why? Well I suspect the clue is that the FCA paid a visit to Aidan Earley. I have not been able to speak to Aidan so just lift from his own blog his account of other events which I do without comment other than to say that I feel genuinely sorry for his wife and kids as it cannot have been pleasant at all. Over to Aidan...

WRN

Old Mother Worthington has a son - meet Whetstone Capital

Well I never, it appears that the Worthington (WRN) Crew has indeed listed son of Worthington (WRN)or at least has filed an admission document. It looks as if Whetsone Capital  (WHET) shares will start to trade on the NEX Markets lobster pot on January 5th.

Worthington: Newco website launched – initial thoughts

At last I hear you cry. It is finally here after months of foreplay - the new Newco website. Delights awaited no doubt but I wasn’t quite sure what form they were going to take. Anyway, it was with baited breath that I clicked on the address indicated in Aidan’s latest blog to ascertain what was behind those gilded gates. Noble Resolve has arrived – let’s take a look.

Sub-Standard Shockers XI Results review – Comedy Central

It’s annual appraisal time for the squad members with annual results for the year to 30 December 2016 due in for many of them by 30 April. It was always going to be the strong favourite that most would leave it to the last minute so thought I’d provide a quick summary of who announced and when and include some commentary on each.

WRN

EXCLUSIVE: Worthington: Newco website unveiled – are you sure it’s not Flagship Global, Aidan?

On his blog, Aidan Earley recently denied that Newco is Flagship Global Corp, which I always thought was the most likely contender for Newco, and it may be that he is telling the truth. However, having now gained access to the pre-launch Flagship Global website, it looks incredibly likely that it is Newco or, perhaps more accurately, that it was going to be at one point. Take a look.

Worthington - more progress but may need to roll a double six to get trading

Slowly, slowly, catchy monkey. Further to my previous piece (HERE), Aidan Earley has updated his blog this week setting out progress on the launch of Newco and the issuance of share certificates to the Worthington shareholders. To be honest, I admire his tenacity and efforts here as it appears to be quite a tortuous route and sometimes I wonder whether it would be easier to defeat the Warlock of Firetop Mountain.

WRN

Worthington: Actual progress - I must be seeing things!

Well, not much comedy gold to mine this week but Aidan Earley does appear to have kept to his side of the bargain and it would be churlish for me to ignore it. Yesterday he updated the long-suffering shareholders of Worthington (WRN) on the distribution of shares in Newco. A few questions remain; nevertheless, after about two and a half years of one delay after delay, any half positive move in the right direction should be applauded. So let’s take a look.

As 19,451potential terrorist invade this country, it is OK that is down 40% on last year. The police turn up and escort them to their 3 star hotels with 3 meals a day some pocket money and lawyers and doctors and dentists.I have not looked but imagine their is not a Jew amongst them.Probably very few christians.Though more Muslims to vote Green and Labour and join protests. The police can do nothing but turn a blind eye to the grooming and rape gangs and protests. If you are white and you throw a plastic bottle at the police you can expect 2 years within days of the incident.Such is the UK, the political elite are building.

My answer is that it is not necessary to consider hypothetical questions merely to know a little history. But folks on the left rarely know history other than the history of colonialism and white oppression learned in Black History Month. The Roman Empire did not borrow money, for a while it engaged in fiscal prudence spending what it could raise via taxes both on its own lands and on those that it colonised. But the demand for panes et circuses grew, the ancient equivalent of the welfare state and the BBC and worse still the costs of supporting a bloated military grew and eventually Rome engaged in MMT, it printed money or rather cut and cut the amount of silver in each coin. It worked for a while but then as folks realised that more coins chasing the same amount of hard assets caused inflation. And that caused societal breakdown as inflation always does as the gap between those with hard assets and wage power and those without grew. As always happens that leads to civil war and or societal breakdown ( see Weimar, 1600s England, etc).Inflation encouraged speculation rather than investment and distorted any idea of making a return on capital via hard work and so the economy floundered. Economic weakness and societal breakdown destroyed the Roman EmpireThat Lucian is why MMT is not just a duff theory but it is something that is proven not to work.
