Verici Dx – after I previously noted “Positive Q1 Trading Update” clearly a ramptastic title, a fundraising (discounted, natch!)…

Most recently on Verici Dx (VRCI), in April with the shares up to 0.525p I wrote ‘“Positive Q1 Trading Update”, this its latest announcement title because it needs ramptastic?’ – concluding it’s stated “the company will announce its full year results for the year ended 31 December 2025 by the end of May 2026”, though I question what’s the balance sheet position now? With also “Positive Q1 Trading Update” clearly a ramptastic title, from an approx. £8 million market cap I suggest caveat emptor and avoid/sell. So what about now “Proposed Fundraising via Placing”?

VRCI

Verici Dx – “Positive Q1 Trading Update”, this its latest announcement title because it needs ramptastic?…

Describing itself as “a developer of advanced clinical diagnostics for organ transplant”, Verici Dx (VRCI) has issued a “Positive Q1 Trading Update”-titled announcement – er, shouldn’t that be for the market to decide? What about the shares currently up to 0.525p in response, but still down from above 0.6p as recently as February?

VRCI

Verici Dx – hopefully my prior warnings were heeded as it’s now “Proposed Fundraising” (massively discounted, natch!)

Verici Dx (VRCI) has announced “a proposed equity fundraising to raise funds to support the commercial scale up of a suite of next generation blood-based tests for the kidney transplant market”. It argues “a large and growing market opportunity” and “believe the business has been significantly de-risked as it moves from product development into commercialisation”, so what about a current share price response more than 37% down to 0.55p?

VRCI

Verici Dx – emphasises “test growth” and “cost control”, but those are still insufficient…

Describing itself as “a developer of advanced clinical diagnostics for organ transplant”, Verici Dx (VRCI) has issued a “Significant Test Growth with Medicare Pending”-titled announcement, including commencing that for “Q1 2025, Verici Dx recorded its highest Tutivia testing order rate of 292 tests. This represents a significant 68% increase in the testing order rate over the previous quarter… This is a highly encouraging ramp up in adoption and test ordering, even before the outcome of the Local Coverage Determination” and also including that “the company has continued to demonstrate a highly disciplined approach to cost control”. So why a current share price response to 1.625p, 50% lower?!

VRCI

Verici Dx – equity raise, more to “advance multiple growth initiatives” or fund ongoing cash burn?…

Previously writing on company describing itself as “a developer of advanced clinical diagnostics for organ transplant” Verici Dx (VRCI), in November with the shares up to 9.5p I wrote “Commercialisation agreement with Thermo Fisher”, but still what about that cash burn? – concluding that, with also house broker Singer Capital Markets only talking of the cash runway as a result being extended only to at least the end of 2024, it is still then what? Therefore, at that juncture and a £16.2 million market capitalisation, I continued to avoid. So what of, already, now the company “pleased to announce… gross proceeds of the fundraising amount to £6.50 million”?

VRCI

Verici Dx – “Commercialisation agreement with Thermo Fisher”, but still what about that cash burn?

Previously writing on company describing itself as “a developer of advanced clinical diagnostics for organ transplant” Verici Dx (VRCI), in July with the shares up to 12.25p I questioned how “important” was a latest step and concluded to still avoid. The shares had since fallen below 6p, but what of them currently back up to 9.5p on a “Commercialisation agreement with Thermo Fisher” announcement?

VRCI

Verici Dx – compliance authorisation from an additional four US states, how “important” a step?

Clinical diagnostics for organ transplant-focused Verici Dx (VRCI) has announced what CEO Sara Barrington emphasises as “another important step in our strategy, expanding our commercial reach and making it easier for clinicians to order our tests helping to drive the adoption of both Tutivia and Clarava”. So what is this ‘step’ and what of a current share price response up to 12.25p?

VRCI

Verici Dx – emphasises “Certificate of Compliance”, but what’s the financial outlook?

Previously writing on transplant platform company Verici Dx (VRCI), in September with the shares falling to 17.5p I reviewed was the fundraise for accelerated progress or to avert cash crunch ahoy?, concluding continue to avoid. The shares most recently closed at 7.5p, but what of them currently up 20% today on the back of a “CLIA Certificate of Compliance” announcement.

VRCI

Verici Dx – was the “fundraise to… continue the accelerated progress” or to avert cash crunch ahoy?...

Previously writing on transplant platform company Verici Dx (VRCI), in March I concluded ‘if the cash is not soon needed, why place now? With the cash burn and a pre-fundraise market cap at even the current 36p share price of above £51 million, avoid’. With a “Commercial Team Appointments” announcement now following results, what do I think now?...

VRCI

Verici Dx – “fundraise to… continue the accelerated progress”, or to avert cash crunch ahoy?...

Verici Dx (VRCI), a developer of clinical diagnostics for organ transplant, has announced a placing of “at least £10.0 million” at 35p per share, stating it “intends to use the net proceeds of the fundraise to… continue the accelerated progress the company has experienced to date”. So what of currently a 4% share price fall in response?...
