Strip Tinning – “£250,000 Loan”, financial desperation?

Most recently on company describing itself as “a leading supplier of specialist connection systems to the automotive sector” Strip Tinning (STG), last month with the shares up to above 36p I wrote ‘grant award, “key to helping the company scale”?’ including that its stated trading improvement outlook tends to be much more challenging to actually deliver. What about now a “£250,000 Loan” announcement?

STG

Strip Tinning – grant award, “key to helping the company scale”?

Describing itself as “a leading supplier of specialist connection systems to the automotive sector”, Strip Tinning (STG) has announced a grant award emphasising that it “combined with the company’s own funding provides the resources needed to meet expected demand from existing contracts in 2027 and beyond together with a platform for further growth”. What about a current share price response up more than 60% to 36.5p?

STG

Strip Tinning – argues 2024 “financial performance in line with market expectations”. Er, not with the start of the year expectations it isn’t!…

Describing itself as “a leading supplier of specialist connection systems to the automotive sector”, Strip Tinning (STG) states that it “is pleased to announce its full year results for the year ended 31 December 2024” in an announcement headlined “Financial performance in line with market expectations, with operational enhancements and strong sales order book leaving the company well-positioned for accelerated growth”. So why does a current 19p share price compare to above 40p at the start of 2024?

STG

Strip Tinning – “trading materially ahead of expectations”, but it is what the “expectations” were which determines how much of an achievement that is. And…

Most recently writing on company describing itself as “a leading supplier of specialist connection systems to the automotive sector” Strip Tinning Holdings (STG), in December with the shares up towards 40p I concluded to avoid with forecast further losses even on the favourable-compared-to-the-bottom-line metric of adjusted EBITDA and with also its already financial position. The shares most recently closed at below 20p but what about them currently back up to 38.5p on a “Trading and Business Update” announcement?

STG

Strip Tinning – argues “delighted to announce” contracted nominations increase, but how ‘delightful’ really?…

Describing itself as “a leading supplier of specialist connection systems to the automotive sector”, Strip Tinning (STG) states that it “is delighted to announce a £11.7 million increase, in aggregate, in the value of its contracted nominations… should allow the company to meet market expectations for EBITDA in FY24 and FY25”. What about this and a current more than 11% higher share price response towards 40p?

STG

Strip Tinning – “delighted to announce” a new Glazing sales nomination, but what about recently with “significant wins” meant to drive growth?…

Describing itself as “a leading supplier of specialist connection systems to the automotive sector”, Strip Tinning (STG) commences a “New Glazing Sales Nomination” announcement with that it “is delighted to announce the receipt of a fifth strategic nomination in the rapidly growing PDLC "smart glass" market, from the leading Global automotive Tier 1 Glazing manufacturer”. What about a share price rising towards 3% higher at 36p in response?

STG

Strip Tinning – “Significant wins in H1 set to drive future growth”. Er, what about the material lack-of-profits warning?!

Previously writing on company describing itself as “a leading supplier of specialist connection systems to the automotive sector” Strip Tinning (STG), in June with the shares up to 67.5p I though considered the current year loss to actually be even worse than anticipated and to still avoid. What of now a trading update headlined “Significant wins in H1 set to drive future growth, despite current market headwinds”, but the shares slumping from even a most recent close 51.5p?

STG

Strip Tinning – fundraising ‘to capture the EV opportunity’, or to fund continuing cash burn?…

Describing itself as “a leading supplier of specialist connection systems to the automotive sector”, Strip Tinning (STG) is “pleased to announce” that it has conditionally raised gross proceeds of £1 million through the issue of 2.5 million placing shares and £4 million through the issue of convertible loan notes “to capture the opportunity within its EV division and to, inter alia, invest in the commercialisation and continued development of the company's CCS product aimed at the EV battery pack market”. What of this and a current 42.5p share price?

STG

Strip Tinning – “New Glazing Sales Nomination”, how “well-placed” to convert its ‘nominations’ pipeline?…

Previously writing on company describing itself as “a leading supplier of specialist connection systems to the automotive sector” Strip Tinning (STG), in March with the shares at 54p I wrote having recently admitted trading “result will not be what the board had originally set out to achieve”… nominal cost options grants (natch!), concluding a now taking the piss avoid/sell. The shares most recently closed at 42.5p, but what of a “New Glazing Sales Nomination” announcement currently taking them up to 50p?

Are you sure that the Government is financing the deficit by printing money? I understood it was financing the deficit by borrowing money in the gilt market, which you also disapprove of? I also understand that the Bank of England is selling its gilt holdings, thereby reducing the money supply. I think you may possible be mistaken.
