Developer and manufacturer of carbon ceramic brakes products Surface Transforms (SCE) has announced results for its year ended 31st May 2019, emphasising “the past 15 months, and more particularly the three-month period of contract awards since 31 May 2019, have been transformational in the development of Surface Transforms. The company now has multi-year, multi million revenue contracts”. Sounds good – but the shares are currently little changed at still sub 20p…
Previously writing on Surface Transforms (SCE), in May I concluded including on recently raised funds forget “to grow and develop”, more like ‘to continue to trade’. The shares are though currently on the rise on a “Contract Agreement with German OEM 5”…
Previously writing on Surface Transforms (SCE), I concluded in March I again suggest it was heading towards cash crunch ahoy rather than “following recent investor demand” which inspired the placing – and, although at least at the prior close, the 15.5p per share also compares to 18p reached last month. With the track record continuing to make me highly sceptical here, still a sell / bargepole. Today a “Trading Update”…
Surface Transforms (SCE) has updated including “we are pleased that current shareholders continued to support our strategy to become a series production supplier of carbon ceramic brake discs to the large volume original equipment manufacturer automotive market. We look forward to the future with confidence”. This from a “£1.9 million placing” announcement…
Previously writing on Surface Transforms (SCE) in September as the shares slid below 18p, I retained prior caution. Today a “Trading & Operational Update” – and the shares currently further lower, at around 13p…
“Surface Transforms (AIM: SCE) is pleased to announce its preliminary results for the year ended 31 May 2018”. The shares have responded, er, currently more than 4% lower, below 18p…
Writing earlier this month on Surface Transforms (SCE) I warned argues “these results are encouraging”… but looks to be firmly heading to cash crunch ahoy AGAIN!. Now it is “pleased to announce that it has successfully placed 9,000,000 new ordinary shares… at 17 pence per share, raising gross proceeds of £1.53 million”…
A “Pre Close Trading, Customer and Operations Update” from Surface Transforms (SCE) includes CEO Kevin Johnson stating “these results are encouraging with good progress being made in virtually all areas”. The shares have responded... er, lower to 18p…
With its shares having been above 20p at the start of 2017 and still above 19p in June as it attempted to mitigate “we continue to look forward with confidence”, Surface Transforms (SCE) has announced the final result of a fundraising which it has emphasised has seen a “most encouraging response from shareholders”. At what price per share again?...
In December I noted cash concerns on Surface Transforms (SCE) following a half-year trading update. I reiterated these last month, despite the company arguing “we continue to look forward with confidence”. Now surprise, surprise it’s discounted fundraising ahoy…
Surface Transforms (SCE) has made an “Operations, Customer and Pre Close Trading Update”, including that a German OEM is “now expected to introduce the company's products earlier than expected - on racetrack cars - in 2018” and “the company is now in full production, on all processes, at Knowsley”. However, other news is far from positive…
Surface Transforms (SCE) has announced results for the six months ended 30th November 2016, claiming “a tough, albeit exciting and successful six months”. The shares have responded… approaching 7% lower, towards 20p. Hmmm…
Manufacturer thus far of largely jam tomorrow Oops, of carbon fibre reinforced ceramic brake discs, Surface Transforms (SCE) has announced what it describes as a “strategically important” contract win – and the shares have responded approaching 10% higher, to 23.5p. BUT…
Previously writing on developer and manufacturer of jam tomorrow (Oops sorry, of carbon ceramic products for the brakes market), Surface Transforms (SCE) I concluded with the shares sliding below 25p that delayed jam tomorrow in conjunction with the nearer-term trading challenges saw me continue to avoid. There is now a “Trading Update” announcement, on the back of which the shares are currently around 8.5% lower at sub 22p...
