Poisonous Frog on the ramp again – wait for the share dumping
The odious Cedric Simonet of Altona Rare Earths (REE) is on the pump with another ramptastic RNS. What comes after Le pump? Yes it is Le Dump?
The odious Cedric Simonet of Altona Rare Earths (REE) is on the pump with another ramptastic RNS. What comes after Le pump? Yes it is Le Dump?
The pompous, intensely unlikeable and stupid frog Cedric Simonet who runs Altona Rare Earths (REE) issued a “knows of no reason for share price decline” RNS on 8 May two days after announcing it had signed up to an ATM death spiral with Zeus. Simonet seriously thought having an ATM death spiral was good for the share price? Can anyone find a more naïve or stupid London listed CEO?
Maybe it is because he is a native frog speaker and something is lost in translation but Cedric Simonet of Altona Rare Earths (REE) is talking total coq once again.
I do not wish to annoy the City’s second most hated man after myself, Richard Jennings, for I am aware that he is a major investor in Altona Rare Earths (REE) claiming to be terribly excited about its assets. Whatever. He may be right, but today’s RNS is of interest to those of us who study how the English language can be used or abused.
In December we wrote on Altona Rare Earths (REE) ‘“Monte Muambe Operational Update”, still an upcoming catalysts Buy’, concluding, with the shares at 1.35p for a £4 million market cap, that we noted on the initial tip already a multi hundred million dollar value-suggesting project study, and so continue to consider there clear near-term catalysts here to take the shares towards 3p and possibly beyond. As such, ahead of that early 2026 potential, still a Buy. What about now?
Altona Rare Earths (REE) has issued a “Monte Muambe Operational Update” announcement including emphasising “expanded fluorspar-gallium resource drilling program (total 74 holes, 3,419m) completed… USTDA engagement for rare earths PFS funding has resumed and is progressing”. What about this latest news in relation to a 1.35p share price, £4 million market cap?
Altona Rare Earths (REE) has issued a “Monte Muambe Fluorspar And Gallium Update” including that it is “very pleased with the progress achieved on the ground, in particular the discovery and ground-truthing of 3 new fluorspar targets. A further update will be provided to investors once sample batches start being exported for assay and metallurgical testing”. What about this and the shares up to 2.125p in response?
Altona Rare Earths (REE) has announced that it “has raised a further gross amount of £600,000” via warrants exercise at 1.5p per share and also a facility extension with its remaining debt provider. What about those in the context of the shares currently up at 2.1p, including from a 1.5p offer price initial tip?
Altona Rare Earths (REE) has issued Monte Muambe project and “strategic and operational” updates including stating that it now “look forward to starting the resource drilling campaign during the course of this quarter and updating shareholders as this work progresses”. This is potentially a significant catalyst with it added currently “every fluorspar and gallium result coming back from the field and from the lab is serving to only strengthen further this project and its potential economics”.
Altona Rare Earths (REE) has issued a “Strategic Update”-titled announcement, stating that it “is pleased to report material progress in its engagement with prospective strategic partners”. How much progress is discounted in a share price now up to above 2p from a 1.5p offer price tip?
Altona Rare Earths (REE) has issued a “Monte Muambe Fluorspar Project Update” emphasising from this project in Mozambique, “very encouraging initial fluorspar metallurgical testing results, and the discovery of further fluorspar occurrences within the mining licence, creating conditions conducive to produce acid-grade fluorspar”. How ‘encouraging’ is the update from a 1.85p share price?
Altona Rare Earths (REE) has issued a “Monte Muambe Fluorspar Results” announcement including commencing that it “is pleased to announce very encouraging assay results from fluorspar ore samples collected at the Monte Muambe Fluorite Zone”. So how positive are the results from a current 1.4p share price, £2.3 million market cap?
Altona Rare Earths (REE) has issued an “Operational Update”-titled announcement which is really focused on a potential development to bring some sustainable cash inflow to the company. What does this mean for this company with a market cap of just £2.2 million at a 1.325p share price?
Altona Rare Earths (REE) joined the London Stock Exchange Main Market from the Aquis Exchange in June last year focused on ‘Rare Earths’ in Africa and particularly the Monte Muambe rare earths project in Mozambique. The move also saw it raise £2 million at 5p per share and there has since been Monte Muambe project progress. However, the macroeconomic situation has seen rare earths out of favour and shares in the company down to a 1.5p offer price, a prospective just £2.4 million market capitalisation. However, its continuing rare earths potential and now diversifying moves into copper and related exploration as well suggest significant news flow and sentiment-driven recovery potential.
