Quartix Technologies – “pleased to report a continuing strong financial performance”, how “strong” relative to the valuation?

Most recently on “vehicle tracking software and services” company Quartix Technologies (QTX), in January with the shares up towards 300p I was cautious and concluded that I didn’t consider the valuation provided much margin for that and so still avoided. The shares most recently closed at 225p and what about now a “Trading Statement” the company states it “is pleased to provide… specifically for progress made in the third quarter”?

Vehicle tracking systems, software and services company Quartix Technologies (QTX) has issued a “Trading Update” including that it “is pleased to report that it expects revenue and adjusted EBITDA (under current accounting policies) are expected to be ahead of current market expectations. Free cashflow is expected to have been £5.1m… The company ended the year with a cash balance of £5.6m”. What about the shares up towards 300p in response?

Describing itself as “a leading supplier of subscription-based vehicle tracking systems, software and services” Quartix Technologies (QTX) has issued a half-year trading statement including that its performance and outlook mean that it “is confident of achieving market expectations for the year for revenue and EBITDA and of being slightly ahead on free cashflow. The company expects to declare an interim dividend of 2.5p per ordinary share (2024: 1.5p)”. How good is this news from its valuation at a current around 250p share price?

‘Vehicle tracking systems, analytical software and services’ company Quartix Technologies (QTX) states that it “is pleased to announce its audited results for the year ended 31 December 2024” and what of the shares currently over 16% higher to above 180p, an £88 million market cap, in response?

Quartix Technologies – interims, argues full-year “believes… will moderately exceed market expectations”. Er, what about the prior expectations though?!

Describing itself as “a leading supplier of subscription-based vehicle tracking systems, analytical software and services”, Quartix Technologies (QTX) states that it “is pleased to announce its unaudited results for the half year ended 30 June 2024” and emphasises that it “is confident in the outlook for the remainder of the year and now believes that both revenue and profit will moderately exceed market expectations. The company looks forward to 2025 and the future with confidence”. So what about that in relation to a current more than 16% higher share price response to 186p?

The shares most recently closed at 155p but today a “Konetik update”-titled announcement, and what of the shares currently falling below 150p?
