Describing itself as an “operator of world-leading auction and list price marketplaces”, Auction Technology Group (ATG) has announced results for its year ended 30th September 2025 headlined “Full year results slightly ahead of market expectations, strong cash generation and good strategic progress”. So what about a share price slightly down to 288p in response and comparing to 480p as recently as August?
Ramptastically describing itself as an “operator of world-leading auction and list price marketplaces that connect millions of buyers with unique items worth finding again”, Auction Technology Group (ATG) has issued a trading update including that “revenue growth accelerated in the second half… made good progress on our strategic initiatives during the year including growing value added services such as atgAMP, atgPay, and in particular, atgShip” and the shares have currently responded just over 9% higher to 340.5p. However, what about even that comparing to a not far off 500p share price as recently as August? – I guess the progress wasn’t as “good” as initially expected then!
Auction Technology Group (ATG) has issued an “Acquisition”-titled announcement headlined “Acquisition of Chairish LLC to further strengthen our leadership position in the online arts & antiques market” and detailing that is paying the $85 million price in cash, so what about a current approaching 20% lower share price response to below 390p?
Hello Share Screechers. This old punter’s life has been dominated by auctions. With a love of antiques I bought nearly all my possessions at a great auction house in Stoke Newington. So I may be biased towards a company called Auction Technology Group (ATG).
