Last night at no-one-is-watching o’clock AIM-listed Parallel Media (PAA) slipped out a correction to its major shareholders listed in the recent full-year results for 2016. Actually, it was a major correction: 33% of the company!
I was pretty straight back in January when calling the shares in AIM-listed Parallel Media (PAA) lower. Having headed north from about 16p, people were buying at 48p. With institutional investor Harwood bailing out a couple of days later the shares headed back to 24p (still jolly expensive in my view) but still the madness went on, peaking several time over 30p before the FY16 results were released on Friday. My thinking remains as before: if you hold it is time to look skywards, be thankful and sell.
On Wednesday I called shares in AIM-listed Parallel Media (PAA) as a sell at 30.75p in the face of what appeared to be a BB pump and dump spoof on Tuesday which puffed the shares from 16p up to a peak of 46.5p in the middle, with a “speeding ticket” RNS released later that day. The shares have since come back to 24p mid (last seen), having put in a floor earlier today of 20.5p. Now we have had a NED walking with immediate effect after Harwood Capital had dumped the last of its holding.
Yesterday morning shares in AIM-listed Parallel Media (PAA) shot out of the gates from the start of trading, peaking at a gain of almost 200%. Meanwhile, over on the LSE Asylum the PAA bulletin board was full of speculation about a corporate deal which would see the shares roof it. 50p, 100p here we come. Having opened the morning at 16p, the stock peaked at 46.5p (mid) with peak prices paid of 48p. But then the company spoke….
