Kefi at 1.49p worth 4.82p or 11.91p?

The research note that asks this question is a) paid for by Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) and b) penned by the convicted felon Charlie Gibson/Lord Ashbourne. That 11.91p number is clearly hogwash for it assume a current gold price for the entire 7 year life of mine starting late 2027. I bet you my entire Cheryl Cole poster collection plus the ankle bracelet Charlie used to have to wear after giving some oik of a copper a jolly good drunken thrashing, the gold price will not average c$4000 during the life of mine.

Video: A convicted felon and a man from a country where 1/3 of folks are descended from convicted felons

Of course I refer to Lord Ashbourne, aka Charlie Gibson, who is the convicted felon. The Australian is ‘arry "trougher" Adams of Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI). This video discusses financing close at Tulu Kapi, how there could be four or five Tulu Kapi’s within Kefi by 2030, lithium opportunities and, most convincingly, Saudi opportunities. Though not the greatest fan of either man, the video is pretty compelling. As gold heads back above $4,000 Kefi is back at 1.5p and I stand by my view that with final funding set to close within weeks the shares could well double from here by Christmas. Enjoy

Two Kefi paid for videos: three key takeaways

First up is one from Proactive and then it is my old Pal Bad Al Ford at Vox. Both are pad for so it is not exactly Paxmanesque. And ‘arry Adams is a dry old coot, not the most aggressive video promoter. Just a few key takeaways for we who are interested in Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI):

KEFI

Kefi Gold & Copper – “US$240 Million Debt Offering Signed”, share price reaction all wrong and here’s why

Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) has announced on the Tulu Kapi project in Ethiopia that $240 million project debt capital has now been signed and “focus is now on closing the equity-risk capital, for which commitments and proposals received for investment at the project level exceed the required US$100 million”. That should be another share price catalyst soon. Pro tem, the shares fell on the news on fears of a placing but we have spoken to the company’s broker.

KEFI

Kefi Gold & Copper – delayed significant news flow now really very imminent indeed!

Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) has announced “the signing of the US$240 million Tulu Kapi Gold Project debt capital offering is now expected to take place this week”. This is a further slight delay from when we previously hoped but, in the context of the multi-years process to get to this point, that’s an irrelevance and “the overall process remains unchanged from the steps and schedule previously set out”. What of the now seemingly very imminent news helping the shares currently up to above 1.5p?

KEFI

Kefi: No wonder folks think that City boys are just dirty scumbags

There is an RNS from Kefi Gold Copper (KEFI) this morning but not what we were hoping for. Funding for Tulu Kapi has not yet been agreed by the banks and Kefi had told us that it would be by the end of this week. Well: tick tock. Tick Tock. Give ‘arry Adams another frigging bonus to incentivize him. Perhaps he has already done his four days this week and is thinking twice about working another for additional pay?

KEFI

Kefi: What does “within the coming week” mean to you?

At 7 AM on Tuesday 30 September Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) served up interims, sugaring the bitter pill f more crap numbers showing no restraint on boardroom greed at all, by promising that the two banks for sign off on project funding for Tulu Kapi “within the coming week.” What do you think that means?

KEFI

Kefi: D’-Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Na, Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

I’m pondering what I should do about my shares in Kefi (KEFI). Amazingly, I’m up by around 25% but in another clanger, ‘Arry has indicated there could be another fundraise, albeit following final sign-off for Tulu Kapi. The trouble is that I just don’t trust him.

KEFI

Kefi Gold and Copper – a next month-expected “full project financial close” Buy

Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) has issued a “Tulu Kapi Gold Project Update” announcement including the “signing of definitive project documentation to start this month, with full project financial close expected in September 2025, triggering full project development”. The following is why we look for the financial close to be a significant catalyst for the shares from a current 0.575p.

KEFI

Kefi: silence not a bad thing

A reader contacted me last week abut Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) asking if there were more delays and about rumours on the LSE Asylum of a placing at just 0.44p. Struth.

KEFI

Kefi: you really could not make this up!

On Saturday I explained HERE why the “independent” NEDs at Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) were in fact patsies and that is why Harry “trougher” Adams has been rewarded so generously in 2024 as Shareholders, down 99% since he took charge, took yet another beating. I sense that while institutional investors may see such greed and reward for failure as fine and dandy, almost all private investors share my anger. One, reader B, write to the Kefi generic email address explicitly asking for his stinging comments to be passed onto the members of the Remuneration Committee who are supposedly “independent” of Adams.

The greed of Harry Adams: an update as the trougher hides behind the skirts of his chums

On Wednesday I fired off THIS LETTER to Harry Adams which has two issues covered: are there delays at Tulu Kapi but, as importantly his extraordinary level of greed, a contrast to the financial suffering we loyal shareholders have suffered. I don’t expect a formal response on the first matter. Frankly Kefi’ Gold & Copper's (KEFI) silence makes me more hopeful that all is on track but given its historic record, we shall have to see.

KEFI

Letter to Harry Adams: hand back your bonus before Kefi peasants revolt and Ed has you for breakfast!

I have written to Harry Adams, the boss of Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) urging him to hand back his bonus paid last year as it is simply not deserved. Advisors to Kefi tell me that Harry thinks that his package of £733,000 for last year (up from £362,000) and including bonuses of £260,000 is fair and justifiable. He is 100% wrong about that as explained HERE and I have urged him to change his pay structure retrospectively as of January 1 2025 and to repay his bonuses.
