East Imperial – liquidators now appointed, hopefully our warnings were heeded!

East Imperial (EISB) has issued a “Result of GM and Creditors' Meeting”-titled announcement including that “a general meeting of shareholders of the company was held virtually on 28 August 2024 at 9.00AM and passed as an ordinary resolution that the company be wound-up voluntarily, and passed as a special resolution that David Rubin and Asher Miller of Begbies Traynor (London) LLP be appointed as joint liquidators”. So what from here?

EISB

East Imperial – to appoint liquidator, hopefully our warnings were heeded!

Having listed in July 2021, raising £3 million at 10p per share, and stating it “as we look to capitalise on the increasing demand for ultra-premium mixers across the globe… look forward to the exciting prospects for our business in the years ahead”, East Imperial (EISB) has today issued a “Company update and intention to cancel listing”-titled announcement!

EISB

East Imperial – argues “significant achievement” supply agreement, but attempted ramptastic?

Describing itself as a “global purveyor of super-premium beverages”, East Imperial (EISB) “is pleased to announce today that an agreement has been reached to supply the prestigious Hong Kong-listed Galaxy Entertainment Group, Macau's leading hotel and casino operator”. What of shares in East Imperial though currently further lower below 1p?

EISB

East Imperial – “pleased to announce the appointment of Allenby Capital”. Er, why might that be?…

Describing itself as a “global purveyor of super-premium beverages”, East Imperial (EISB) has announced an “appointment of Allenby Capital as broker”, stating that “the appointment aligns with the company's strategy of expanding the group's investor base” and that Allenby’s “experience in helping ambitious companies grow will be invaluable to East Imperial as we expand in premium markets worldwide”. Er, a few points on those…

EISB

East Imperial – “pleasing top-line growth and a strong start to 2023” trying to fool us or fooling itself?

Describing itself as a “global purveyor of ultra-premium beverages”, mixers company East Imperial (EISB) reckons that it “today announces audited full-year results for the year ended 2022 with pleasing top-line growth and a strong start to 2023 in line with the company's expansion plans”. Hmmm – if so, why a current 1.6p share price in response, more than 27% lower?!

I don't know what to say.How can any individual be so dumb to imagine that he can publicly insult / defame another individual without consequences?I'm just gobsmacked that such a nasty numpty actually exists.Don't let the Cadbury's Fruit & Nut case get you down Tom. He isn't worth it.

Fully agree Tom - trouble is it's not how much money you have to spend, it's how you spend it. My view is the welfare system needs totally dismantling and starting again from scratch. Then, make it quite clear that "asylum seekers" (I preferred The Seekers with Judith Durham) will get the very bare minimum - and immediate deportation if their claim is rejected. Burnham was typically Labour attacking the weakest first in his speech by wanting to dismantle the Triple Lock, although my financial head says it can't last ad infinitum so fair play to him there. We are in total shitland but it will take politicians with some spine to tell us the truth (for once) and get us out of it. All this spending of toilet paper money only firms the investment idea in gold, silver and mining shares though. At the end of the day they will be the only things of any value left.

That’s exactly what this country needs and the only way this unsustainable situation gets resolved. No politician has the guts to tell the truth, never mind implement what’s needed. We are indeed in a terrible mess.

As I noted either it will tank or its a multi bagger, no real middle ground.I cant lie, Im thinking of selling more LGEn and buying more. If Im wrong, retirement postponed by a couple of months, if Im right it changes a lot

but in a not totally guessing way I am expecting 3 bits of big news before the end of the year. If I am right about even 1 the shares will rerate. So when would I say my target for a re-rating is?

I too am pretty frustrated with Ecob, the problem as I see it is the locations they have gravitated to, East Europe, Africa ns South America - nothing ever gets done quickly. To me, I want to see some cash banked from Albania, it will be a big relief. I can see a likelihood of Senegal going ahead, I also think there's a very good chance of a decent contract in UK. Things take time and we'd all love to see the income, construction and ultimately a share price rise. I do have confidence there is a product to sell. Are there enough people selling it? I'm in for the long haul, I do believe.

Stop for the love of god doing Christmas predictions. HSR has done this so many times and seen so many failures on that front. Not saying there isn't potential here but like many other stocks pumped by HSR; the "x by christmas" line is tired and nearly always wrong.
