On 7th February this year we wrote that shares in international provider of fresh prepared food Bakkavor (BAKK) were a growth and income Buy at a 139.5p offer price and up to 145p, concluding that a share price return to 175p+ looked quite possible and there also a, growing, likely 5.5%+ dividend yield. The shares had already responded up to a recent close 151p but it’s now clear we’re not the only ones to see further value here...
On tipping international fresh prepared food group Bakkavor (BAKK) at a 139.5p offer price just last month, we noted the business trading strongly and that its performance suggested that the shares offered growth and income value. What about now full-year results and the shares already at above 150p?
Last month “international provider of fresh prepared food” Bakkavor (BAKK) issued a trading update including that it “anticipates FY24 adjusted operating profit to be at least in line with the upper end of market expectations” and that it “expect to deliver further progress as we continue on our trajectory to our 6% margin target”. This suggests growth and income value from a 139.5p offer price.
