All politicians get it wrong eventually but the idea of three consecutive victories for Burnham is quite appealing when the alternative is Kemi or Nigel
I can only dream of having 2.5 million shares.I’ve got 8 million of the buggers, currently down an average of 30%.I have faith……. The ride is a bit rocky at the minute though 😬
I held shares in Nyota Minerals which owned Tula Kapi and which eventually went where other failed AIM stocks eventually go. I later bought into KEFI in the very early days amidst all the talk of mining the gold in three to four years time. And so here we are, still no gold, lighter of the wallet if like me you kept believing the bull case. This is quite simply a jam tomorrow stock but a miracle could happen which is the thought that keeps me here. Selling now would be unthinkable after all the losses. Good Luck.
If we wake tomorrow and peace is declared in the middle east and in Ukraine. Where will oil go and how fast? It is very unlikely, I know but down 50% in short order? Things tend to overshoot on the upside and on the downside, so is a 60 to 75% retracement possible?Just asking?Gold in 1980 was £310 with 20 years of inflation in 1998 it hit £153. Recent price movements are no guide.I dont see why it is incredibly silly. I looked at a 40 and 50 year chart. GOLD.co.uk https://www.gold.co.uk/gold-price/50year/ounces/GBP/The sillyness seems to have started in April 2019 gold was £1000 an ounce. Why could it not go back there? If you look at the chart, recent price action seems the aberration.Take a look at a commodity chart, palm oil. https://www.rea.co.uk/investors/cpo-price-bursa-malaysia . March 2022 $1925 September 2022 $711. Though you can not compare the two, the chart looks like it is the same set up as gold?I am not a learned man, the only time I have been to university is to drink with friends and much later in life to drop off and pick up my daughter and to see her graduate.Sometimes though I see things as cheap and sometimes I see them as expensive. That is why perhaps at 55 I am retired and my friends who went to university are still working hard. Though perhaps I am just lazy.Like anyone else I can be fooled and persuaded.Though I try much harder these days not be taken in by any group think.
I put the potential price of gold as a bear case. It was just six years ago gold was below $1200.February 2024 gold was below $2000 an ounce. Two years or more until first pour so why could it not go back? The idiot Brown sold lots of UK gold at $275 on average. The lowest price I believe was $257 an ounce. These people are supposed to be far more intelligent than I. With highly paid advisers. These are just my fears, as I state, I hold a fair holding in Kefi, I hold AMRQ and BRWM, I own physical gold and silver. I want the price to go up.Both the shares and the price of Gold.Tom will tell you Gold and Gold Miners do not always do what you hope. I have a share certificate somewhere that is just a reminder of times gone by.
