After the success of this year’s biggest and best ever Sharestock, The Mrs. is hard at work making plans for Sharestock 2027 on September 4. We start with the news this morning that Lucian Miers has agreed to trek over from Yorkshire to join us next year. Yesterday Jim Mellon agreed that he will again abandon his 10 dogs for the day and fly over from the Isle of Man to headline the show. And there are more inked in speakers and thus 51 weeks ahead of the event it is already 15% sold out!
Evil Banksta is coming back as is Fagash who will grill the three CEOs who get a 15 minute mauling. Cathal Friel of European Green is already inked in for his duffing up.
Boatman Capital of Argo Blockchain glory is set to make a return after a one year absence and Brian Kinane will be back again to have heated arguments about pig and pork financing and AI. Chef Vijay is onside for the lunch.
And it will again be cold salmon and home-made ice cream for supper. As ever, I slightly over-ordered on the salmon so the cats and the whole family are on a high salmon diet until the weekend.
We will organise the night before “gathering of friends” on the 3rd. I do not know what the Mrs. intends to arrange but I have faith that it will be, as was this year, an enjoyable annual reunion for us all.
I will announce more speakers over the coming days and weeks as the Mrs. gets wheels in motion.
