Thanks to our IT genius Darren I have no idea how many tickets are left for Sharestock on September 5 but I think it is now 5. And as a free speech event I am going to make it even more sparky.
Sadly I learned last week that Mark Slater has had to withdraw and although I am talking to one replacement speaker Brian Kinane reckons we should just go for it and make it even more sparky and controversial. And so Brian and I will, during the day, hold two 20 minute debates.
If you want long only ideas you will have both of Britain’s Buffett's (Jim Mellon and Nigel Wray on stage) plus both long and short AI ideas from Brian Kinane and Barry Downes.
There will be sparky debate already, notably myself vs Andrew Webley on bitcoin and bitcoin in treasury companies. And short presentations from Evil Banksta and Lucian Miers.
Peter Brailey wants to tear apart Chris Gilbert of Eco Buildings and Cathal Friel of European Green. But Mr Kinane says we need more adversarial confrontation.
