Yesterday’s shocking news that a fraudster had hired Nick Leeson of Barings infamy and Seth Freedman of Harvey Weinstein infamy to destroy me for exposing that fraud with an array of dirty tricks should have been a warning about journalistic freedom. We can track IPs and know that folks on all the Nationals read the expose as did numerous folks at Bloomberg whose employees Will Shaw and Meg Short played such a key role in the conspiracy … but this morning it’s crickets
There is complete radio silence from the MSM. Maybe someone will pick it up, my pals at Panorama want to chat next week. I have dropped my old mate Ian Hislop a link to the story so let’s see if Private Eye, a magazine founded by my late Uncle Christopher Booker, can be bothered.
But pro tem it is silence. Suffice to say the folks at Bloomberg who boast of their ethicaljournalism have not responded to a single email to discuss its part in this conspiracy.
As for Fleet Street, one wonders if they are afraid of Freedman who has form of menacing journalists in America or maybe they think that he will only go after journalists who do are not part of the MSM. Or perhaps Fleet Street and Bloomberg are both now staffed by such complete pussies that they pose no actual threat to white collar criminals so have nothing to fear.
