Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
In August’s edition of an obscure online publication, Jim Mellon tipped Summit PLC (SUMM) to do great things. Mr Mellon’s track record and judgement in picking winners on AIM is second to none. Summit is a company Ben used to follow quite closely. The science it is developing is truly marvellous, even if its path has been a horribly bumpy ride lower for long term shareholders. No one is going to pretend that this has been a good stock hold over a long period of time, but that is in the past. Now priced at 115p (last seen) this could be a good opportunity to buy into a business, which has previously offered so much incredible potential.

I could not agree more with the article – ‘Summit-corporation-follow-jim-mellon-and-buy-at-115’. I have been following Summit since 2010 and have 34k shares at an average of £1.14p.It has been a roller coaster in that time but I truly believe that it is now up time and no more returning to where we are today.I believe C-diff alone will generate a good return on todays SP.I have attended the AGM’s since 2010 with the exception of this year and have noted the change for the better since Glynn became CEO.It was a good solid article and I completely agree with’ the rationale for buying into Summit now looks compelling’.

this is so much crap! I know nothing about SUMM but I do know something of Tom and Jim Mellon. Tom follows Jim like a lap dog (why? , I leave you to speculate!). Port Erin was a good one Tom! what was it, 50% drop in 3 months! Tom, lets have some independant opinions, its too easy to follow people who have had a bit of luck in the past.

Its a game and we buy stocks to make money or lose it. I wish summit well and I hold a shit load. Do I care if the drugs come good yes with my heart. Do I care if the price drops like a brick. No. Why? Because I would not give to a good cause but will always invest. Great write up.:)
