Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
Globo (GBO) this week issued a trading statement which is the usual gibberish from a company driven by issuing non news to support a share price which I fundamental terms is unjustifiable.

Hi Tom,
Please forgive but I believe that you can find market expectations for globo at the 4 Traders web site.
I like to ask your take on the CEO going to reside in Silicon Valley in Q3?
Best Regards,
Johan Cruft

Don’t expect him to answer a question that is one bit positive towards any shares he is bashing. You will only get a response if you agree with him or rant at him. He has no interest in an intellectual conversation on Globo.

I think what Craig meant was “Tom tries to answer far more comments than anyone else but would like to spend some tm rescuing parots, talking to his Mrs etc.”
Re forecasts – my point is just that when companies issue an RNS saying “we will meet forecasts” I think best practice is to say what UP TO DATE consensus is” – it is just more transparent that way.
Re the CEO going to live in the US. I am not sure I see that either as a positive or a negative.
Craig – you would not know an intellectual conversation if it hit you in the face.
Best wishes
Tom

Tom.
How you make me chuckle.
Telling globo off for saying the words beating market expectations but then ramping Avesco who use the exact same language
“full year results are likely to exceed the board’s prior expectations”.
And by the way Avesco cash generation looks a bit wiffy if you ask me………………….. I just assume Avesco is part of your Nifty Fifty…. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMP
