In anticipation of the UK Investor Show this Saturday, where I am speaking on both the main stage and in a breakout session, Tom has asked me what is my all-time favourite UK gold stock is, and I have to admit I was a bit pressed for choice so I have decided to cheat a little and give you my top 3.

Amanda, please could you clarify your interpretation of centamin having 283 m debt. I always believed they had zero debt and zero hedging

Cracking article, thankyou

Centamin have no debt.
From the Annual Report published this month they have 3 entries in current liabilities and 1 entry in non-current.
Non-current is $7.139 million for restoring the landscape after mining ends.
Current liabilities are trade and other payables of $43.969m, tax of $6.837m and $576000 for employee benefits.
Absolutely no debt, $200m of cash on the balance sheet and pretty much the cleanest accounts you’ll see from any miner anywhere. It pays a divi as well.
I’ve got a small exposure to POG, but my main gold play (other than physical) is CEY. I see no reason why that will change any time soon.

Thanks blue free, as I thought, not sure why it was noted that they had ?
