As indicated by the recent 2015 results of Highland Gold (HGM), Russian producers are beginning to deliver significant benefits to the bottom line by, (a) management’s dual focus on optimising costs and maximising throughput across the Company’s operations and (b) the devaluation of the Russian Rouble against the US$.
Continuing golds long term trend to breaking the $1300 barrier further adds to the investment case, as balance sheets are strengthening with stronger net cash inflows.
Accepting there may still be large impairment charges/exchange rate losses, I fully expect POG to deliver pleasing results, mirroring HGM’s, of further costs and efficiency measures thus delivering strong operational net cash inflows enabling quicker reduction of debt levels, further adding to the markets growing confidence in the POG recovery story.
Already over 18% ahead since tipped by SP, the story looks to get even better!
