I believe Slater Investments are clearly correct in attempting to actively protect their investment by calling to book the poorly performing management team at Lakehouse.
As far as I’m aware Slater is the first major Institution shareholder, in getting publicly involved in demanding such boardroom changes. Too often, Fund Managers with sizable shareholdings in companies have remained silent or simply walked away allowing incompetent, poor or greedy managements to get away in shafting their businesses.
Its to be hoped that Slater Investments leadership will herald a new trend amongst the Institutions in intervening to protect their investment from such failing underperforming management.
