African Potash (AFPO) CEO Chris Cleverley says that he is an expert in running Not For Profit Organisations. African certainly fits into that category but today's interims suggest that Cleverley has not got a scoobie.

I also notice on the AFPO board is the former Tory Skegness & Boston MP Mark Simmonds who was all over the news a year or two ago when he was whinging how his £120,000 ministerial wages were just not enough money to survive on.

You have a local clown on the BB named waverider who somehow can’t see a negative in this company or Mr Cleverly. Apparently the news today was good in his eyes. I also smell a placement around the corner, the whole thing is a travesty. Keep the coverage up on this one, I am at a loss how the SP is even steady and/or recovering – people have gone mad!

Yeah turning into a bit of a joke – my opinion on the company and it’s MOUs hasn’t really changed much since last August/September. The share price is a lot higher but when trying to value a company i don’t do so on hype and hot air!
Looks like it will also be in breach of its 500,000mt/per annum deal with COMESA, so will be interesting if there is any sort of penalty!
I also find it funny that people have so much trust in CC purely because he was a lawyer – I remember another company called RRL and it’s CEO Pete Landau who was also a lawyer, and we know how that turned out!
