Israel is one of the most corrupt places to do business (it’s officially ranked as the 9th most corrupt country in the world). The ex President is in prison (rape); the ex Prime Minister is in there too (corruption, bribes, perjury, you name it). I can name at least 10 Israeli cabinet ministers who have been convicted of serious crimes including current cabinet minister (and former foreign secretary) Avigdor Lieberman who was convicted of assaulting a 12 year old girl.

So in Israel bent politicians get jailed. in the UK they quit the cabinet and are back in a few months and none end their career let alone go to jail. Ditto most places. I rather think that makes Israel an honest place

Yes, the old argument that they’re all the same. They’re not. The scale of corruption in Israel is vastly greater than in the UK, which you would know if you had ever done business there. In the UK we don’t have Prime Minister’s who have taken bribes, perjured themselves, obstructed criminal cases or raped people as far as I know.
As I said, I can name 10 Israeli cabinet ministers who have been convicted of serious offences (including a serving minister who assaulted a 12 year old). And then there is the Mayors, the MKs, the religious leaders and so on.
Are you seriously suggesting the same is true in the UK?
