I accept that I woke up in a bad mood on Monday; however, one ridiculous comment in Craven House Capital’s (CRV) interims RNS got my back up even more and lead me to investigating further. I’ve been pulling on that investigative thread ever since so thought I’d write a series of articles on what appears to me to be one almighty spoof.

Not the Sir David Jones who escaped the clutches of the SFO by playing the Parkinsons card, thereby denying JJB’s shafted shareholders a sure-fire class action victory while hanging on to his untarnished gong? Nah, must be a different Sir David Jones because the one I’m talking about was skint and must surely have succumbed to his illness by now. SDJ, CBE, RIP…CRV?
