Strat Aero (AERO) has announced what it describes as “a significant milestone” in its positioning as a full service provider; its “first wind inspection and data analysis contract utilising its UAVs and proprietary software… with the largest electricity provider in the state of Kansas, USA” (Westar Energy). Sounds good, I’ll read on…

not all capital raises have to be at huge discount. Depends on the company and reasons for the raise.
Whats your point? you telling people to sell so they can ‘potentially’ buy back lower.. or are you saying AERO is not to be invested in full stop?
I’m a biased holder.. but not quite understanding the point you are trying to make to the masses.

I agree with Mark and don’t understand the point of this article. Yes small companies on Aim do have to sometimes raise funds. That’s AIM. Get over it !!! Are you really giving a message to AIM investors to sell up whenever there is a likelihood of a funding acquisition? That really would make a shambles of small company investment. There are LTH investors too, otherwise even more young companies would go to the wall.
Anyway pointless article Steve, you’re beginning to sound like tw…

I’m not yet invested but I understand the point as simply hold off until the “anticipated” fund raise is announced.
This is AIM and very rarely do you get fund raisers at a premium to the prevailing share price, especially in this current climate.

This company has great potential and expect further contracts soon..Shares are looking cheap and are a strong BUY..

its a nonsense article. the company doesn’t need money to keep the lights on. Any fundraise would be probably done with some finesse by Tony Aero in the future. I’ve met the chap recently, was quite impressed with the story/valuation/opportunity.
The author needs to put her balls on the line: are you saying sell them because you don’t like the company, sell because any fundraise will be below the current shareprice; don’t buy because they are gonna be cheaper offered post any fundraise… I need clarity on the post.. what is the dude saying??

Great article in the Telegraph today about Strat Aero picking up this initial wind turbine deal. A balanced view on the company unlike this one which appears to be trying to scare monger investors or would be investors.
This is a promising long term play for me.
Would be nice if Steve can write with more balance and meaning if he chooses to write about Strat again.
