When announcing that it was to quit AIM and go to the ISDX lobster pot David Lenigas creation Afriag (AFRI) served up all sorts of horseshit to justify the move (see HERE). But it was horeshit (should that be horseshit or is horeshit more appropriate?) and the real reason is...

I just love the newly coined word “horeshit”.

Afriag’s stated investing policy (to take a passive or active interest in other companies) has always contravened AIM rules so either Daft Dave and his advisers didn’t understand them or they knew they were rolling the dice. AIM should have nipped it in the bud early doors but better late than never.
One of the LSE BBMs actually posted his thanks to you for highlighting the issue – in the misguided belief that the shares would fare better on ISDX than on AIM. (Daft Dave has convinced them all that the shrinking SP is all due to shorting – notwithstanding the fact that AFRI can’t be shorted.)
Incidentally, I hope Doc H isn’t out of pocket on AFRI. I found an early interview of Daft Dave by him and, unless Doc was being beguilingly disingenuous, it’s a bit superficial and pumpy:

Duck ………. Na its genuine ,no satire, …………Doc got well suckered into it , realised too late ,and ripped into Del Boy at question time during Del Boys presentation at the investment show the year prior to last one. Dont think Doc quite twigged it was an investment vehicle from the off and thus was very upset at getting no financial updates on AFRI because of that fact . Being as the investment was in an unlisted outfit no year end accounts were forthcoming of any meaningful value and so investors had no fecking idea what the hell was going on really . There were at lot of “four Canals” being uttered by investers at the time I seem to remember .

@WR – Uncle Tom fell for the Lenigas schmooze too so Doc wasn’t alone (and no wonder all the BBMs fell for it too). Fact is, all the research published here over the past few months about Lenigas’s disgraceful pre-float share deals and the tobacco smuggling stuff was all out there 2-3 years ago so Doc at least should have dug it up before swallowing the bait.
