I won’t be popular for saying this . Notwithstanding its derivation,a valid meaning of the word ‘refute’ is ‘to say that a statement is not true or accurate,without giving proof ‘ . Source Onelook

“The Board, led by the audit committee, will of course review the allegations however given the factual inaccuracies …” is not English either. There should be a full stop after “allegations” and then a new sentence. However, a great many such announcements appear to be written by complete morons.

Seems like the standards of grammatical English used by these two organisations is about on par with their shoddy misleading unprofessional outlook in fulfilling their duties of providing unbiased analysis and competent due diligence.
Canaccord promoting the shares as a buy!!!!! People paid substantial salaries to produce utter crap! What farce!
