The scandal at FRAUD Globo (GBO) is still getting worse: we have now had news that Globo CEO Mr Konstantinos Papadimitrakopoulos has been selling shares - 42 million of them, and a further 10 million have been "pledged" in a now defaulting "loan" deal with Lantau Holdings in a deal which has echos of the Equities First which was used by fraudster Rob Terry and his henchmen. The shocking statement reads:

Tom,
I want to give you a big “Thank You” for all your reporting and opinion on Globo. You have contributed to me saving a fair wedge. This is really proof that your modern unconventional financial comment and opinions has a very positive side to it. I shall continue to read your web site in the future.
Once again, Big thanks to you.

Beware of Greeks bearing gifts…………and running companies!! What a shyster.

Company advisors (brokers, nomads) will have absolutely known the CEO was dumping shares.
They wont even get a slap on the wrist for turning a blind eye.

He sold 42M, so he won’t starve. I’m afraid the Greeks have done to Globo sharedholders what they did to EU taxpayers.

Britain was already in the EU before Greece joined, so you were one of those countries that promised to bring wealth and prosperity to Greece, you lied. With a large industrial infrastructure, you exported millions to the Greeks, you see any cars on your roads that were manufactured in Greece, but you sure see 1000’s of cars manufactured in Britain on a Greek Road.
You sold them cars, they sold you Olive Oil. Tell me, how many Ollve trees does Greece have to grow before you can call it the industrial revival that you and the EU promised them. The Greeks were fooled into becoming a captive of one way trade, with significant cash outflows and no inflows, they simply ran out of money, all colonies.do.
When the money runs out you just walk away, which is exactly what you did with your empire.
You have a longer term problem, the EU is the last of the empiricals, when the EU fails and it will, then you trade the world as everyone else does, As you will have to do it sometime, you may as well start now, here on AIM you are the captive, so try and trade your way out, judging by the standards and behaviors of some of AIM shareholders they don’t appear to be very good at it.
So where is your bust, it isn’t the Greeks that are screwing EU taxpayers, it is the EU, it’s screwing all of us. Either the EU is fucked off or we will be

That is fecking incredible …………….. Rolet “the incompetent one “ must surely resign now .
Another case of Auditors who dont Audit . If it was not so serious you would laugh about it .

And of course this proves that the AIM Regulators are providing a very fertile ground for the International Finance Community to carry out such scandels. “This is Great Britain we welcome fraud in our markets and we will make it as easy for you as we can to carry out your scams.”

Were you aware that Britain’s greatest share tipping guru was a huge Globo fan?
I refer to the legend that is the Investors Chronicle leading share analyst Mr Simon Thompson and article from the Investors Chronicle on 5 Aug 2015 – “Short sellers in for shock treatment”.
Added together with Mr Thompsons previous unbounded enthusiasm for recommending well known Chinese frauds, it would be fair to conclude that any poor reader following the gurus advise has most probably lost a pretty packet!
Thus its unsurprising that whilst ShareProphets rockets to new highs in readership numbers and reputation, The Chronicle sadly continues its spiral of decline.
Perhaps in order to try and arrest its inevitable death, the publishers of the IC ought to consider employing journalists from this site?
Dick
Phil,
briefly. The money given to Greece (E345billion, was it? before the latest lot), was meant to be used by them to modernise their economy and make it competitive. Instead, they spent it on high living: buying cars, yes, Porsche Cayenne’s somebody said were a favourite, retiring at fifty, creating non-jobs, buying armaments, and London property, and stashing it away in Swiss bank accounts. They fooled a lot of people, including you. Globo is a microcosm.

Tom can you now focus your efforts on the disastrous reign of Mr Roulette (great name to be in charge of a casino) and just remind people that investors have lost millions of pounds on his watch whilst he proclaims AIM to be the best thing since sliced bread.

How very disappointing. I was looking forward to a multi page rebuttal, which would be ripped apart for arse paper and actually drop them in in further, followed by a phoney lawsuit in a UK court against the US authors, with never to be actually carried out legal threats against TW and SP. Loads of BBMs remortgaging their houses to buy more shares at “these crazy prices” brought about by evil shorters and their lies, with rumours of share buybacks any day to burn the shorters in hell etc. But no! The boring bubble and squeaks have only gone and put their hands up, don’t they realise they should have made a small purchase and announced that, whilst they were really selling. At this rate they are going to be in their cells before Rob Terry et al. Oh well at least they can bagsie the best bunk.
Phil
Dick, you detailing the consequence of Greece because it sounds a bit like Britain to me. Fancy the Greeks breaking their own banks eh, could anyone else be so stupid.
People always have a myopic view of their own country and a bipolar view of others, me included.
I have lived and worked in Greece for a Greek shipping magnate, you do not work for them as a fool I can assure you, I enjoyed my time in Greece, was I feckless?, of course i was. I had the time of my life, I would never have missed it.

Well said re Simon Thompson at IC. In my earlier days I lost a packet on his very convincing but dodgy share tips. Readers warned him about Globo on the IC forum when he first tipped them but he told them they were talking rubbish and it was perfectly normal for companies to try to raise excess cash. Some readers (including me) also warned him about the Chinese frauds Camkids and Naibu but he ignored them. He takes advice from Edison, WH Ireland and Equity Developments.
Surely his reputation is now in tatters. Needless to say – I cancelled my IC subscription earlier this year. I have learned far more from Shareprophets about reading companies than I ever did over at IC
