David Lenigas and your PR bully - welcome to the kiddies' playpen - more questions

Big Dave Lenigas still will not answer TWO QUESTIONS.  His PR man last night refused to condemn and almost condoned the barbaric behaviour of UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) shareholders. And now the big fat Aussie stock ramper is playing the man (two men) not the ball again on Twitter:

Comments

  1. Still, at least he didn’t mention BT’s drug dealing past!

  2. Daniel Victor

Okay,Tom,but didn’t you used to be friends with big Dave ? What changed ?

  3. DV

I made perfectly legitimate comments about Horse shite, LGO & afriag. He responded with personal abuse, actions which goaded his insane followers into going even further. And thus we are now at war.

    t

  4. Juicin Drumroll

Lenigas is busy pumping Teathers (TEA) via twitter for his slimy mate Jason Drummond.

    All hands to the bargepoles!

  5. MrContrarian

What an ignorant and pompous response by David Bick to say someone has to have years behind a desk as a journalist to say that a liar is not a fit and proper person to be CEO.
Perhaps David Bick thinks calling out wrongdoing of those in power (as opposed to being a paid yes man) should be a regulated activity. No doubt he was gladdened when Mugabe made insulting the President a criminal offence. How dare your inferiors creep out from the shadows to point the finger.

  6. Clearly Mr Bick spends alot of time in the toilet doing what only wankers do . Please show me Mr Bick any place on the internet that proves AFRI AG “tuck” ( your RNS words ) business actually exists . I want to see pictures of an operating base for the trucks (branded) a web site , newspaper adverts , bill board adverts , TV adverts , business cards , or some other means for potential customers to contact the business and place orders or request a quote for the use of your refridgerated transport “tucks” ( your RNS words)
If you can supply these such as to satisfy me that there is in fact a real business I will buy some shares in the company .Meanwhile what exactly are your qualifications for questioning Mr Ben Turney’s journalism , apart from being a wanker . You are in a worthless profession and a parasite on business and society in general . Crawl back under your rock and stop trying to defend the indefensible . Clearly your client has been sussed as over promoting value destroyer of shareholders funds and has a track record that is almost unmatched in that respect . I remind you of the track record of the following under your client : – lgo, solo, inspirit , afri , rem, ukog to name a few.

  7. Juicin. Not the same TEA that Hot Rockets are often pumping?

  8. drunken sailor

    Tom and Ben,

All great stuff as usual. However may I caution you against opening up on too many fronts at the same time. This was probably the most critical mistake the Austrian Corporal made losing him the Second World War – you know what it did to him when it all went horribly wrong as you have re-subtitled the video several times.

May I commend to you the wisdom of Sun Tzu in his Art of War – as relevant today as it has always been in any conflict situation. Knowing your enemy and knowing yourself is key. If your enemy is a former friend, both sides have the same advantage.

  9. I tried to look at David Bick’s track record. Other than his association with David Lenigas and his claim to be PR adviser to UKOG I can find only total AIM dogs in his client list. This would imply that his track record and experience is healthy in defending the indefensible so begs the question as to what qualifies him to question whether BT is credible. David Bick has a demonstrably fine record in spinning bullsh1t. He is clearly an oily snake in that industry and a wealth of experience that I suspect BT has no wish to accumulate. David Bick’s email, it seems to me, is as absurd as it is effectively bad mannered and disrespectful. I also suspect that insofar as anyone in the PR industry reads his outpourings, they will view them with envy if not nod knowingly.

If David Bick ever hopes to gain credibility as a PR spinner (or anything else) he is, in my view, doing an excellent job in putting lipstick on a pig.

Keep up the good work Ben and Tom and don’t let this hideous man and his associates bully you.

  10. I’ve been a full time journalist for 53 years. I only wish I had Ben’s courage and talent. I would have got a lot further in my career.

  11. Tom ,

These guys have pretty much destroyed their own reputation themselves . You and Ben are just shining a light on it .

They should have stood behind their original estimate of 100 billion barrels in place rather than denying it .

Suppose for a moment that their figure for oil in place is correct . If 10% of the aerial extent will work (is sweet spots) , 50% of that is lost due to being too close to faults or being out of bounds and recovery factors are 3% which is good for light tight oil , recoverable oil comes out at 150 million barrels for the Wealden basin .

It was irresponsible to trumpet in place volumes and they may have exaggerated those but how much should they take the blame for the media’s indifference to the distinction between in-place , prospective resources and reserves .

  12. @MrContrarian – Well put!

@Wildrides – so much to go at there. Just makes me think, people who live in sandcastles probably shouldn’t start pissing contests

@DS – Excellent reading! NEW should be over soon, so I’m not tangled up in anything at the moment other than with the bank robber and his Team Shotgun. But since they are basically Lenigas’ expendable foot soldiers, perhaps it’s time to start taking shots at the officers (pun intended)

@Woody – I might copy and paste your comment and put it to Bick for an official response. :-)

@Malcolm – Thank you. Nice that someone on this site has nice things to say about our writers, unlike Le Boss!

  13. Yeah Tom! ………….. give Ben some praise …………… he has done nothing but good quality flipping , with absolutely no flopping lately ……….. everyone need some motivational praise now and again ( I Know ,I Know ……… I need to go and f…….. myself );-

  14. Ben, please do. The hypocrisy of the man is staggering.

  15. Juicin Drumroll

    @ Peter re: 9:42am,

    ‘Fraid so.

  16. Now I understand why websites like this one is called a child line.

  17. Terrible English Bick …………….. go back to PR school , and wind your neck in while your at it .
