A 3:42pm Globo plc (GBO) announcement of a “High Yield Bond Update” seems like another job for the ShareProphets RNS translation service. Does the announcement alter my negative stance on the shares? Er… No (the RNS in normal font, my interpretation in bold)…

I have the feeling your translation of Globo’s statement, hits very close to home!
A company operating in a high growth market with blue chip clients, allegedly earning huge revenues with massive free cash flow. Yet, somehow needs to raise $180million by issuing a five year “junk” bond paying out 10%, despite having over 40 million euros in the bank!!!! Where’s the business rationale, in that one?
Something don’t sit right here…….red flags a fluttering….. little wonder the company seems to have very little credibility left with many investors.
